Universities release 2026/2027 admission letters - How to download
Thousands of students placed in public universities through KUCCPS can now download their 2026/2027 admission letters after several institutions opened their admission portals ahead of the September intake.
Universities that have released admission letters are Kenyatta University, Moi University, Maseno University, Kisii University and Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST).
Others that have also released admission letters include Maasai Mara University, Dedan Kimathi University of Technology and several other public universities.
Kenyatta University announced that admission letters for all 11,244 KUCCPS-placed students are available for download through its admissions portal.
Students joining the university have been directed to access their admission letters by logging into the dedicated admissions portal using their KCSE index number and examination year.
The learner will then be required to enter their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) index number and year of the national examination to log in.
Moi University also confirmed that admission letters for the 2026/2027 academic year were available, urging successful applicants to complete the online admission process before reporting.
The institution instructed students to visit the university’s portal: admissions.mu.ac.ke and log in using the KCSE index number and year of KCSE examination.
Maseno University similarly announced that admission letters and joining instructions were ready for download.

MMUST also informed first-year students that admission letters and joining documents were available for download as preparations for the September intake gathered pace.
Unlike the other institutions, JKUAT said admission letters were still being processed and asked students to wait for an official communication.
“Once the admission letters are ready, the university will officially communicate and provide guidance on how to download them,” JKUAT said.
