Erling Haaland Credits Fatherhood for His Red-Hot Scoring Streak at Manchester City

The prolific striker of Manchester City, who cannot be stopped in front of the goal, mentioned that his time with his baby son has made him relax and find balance off the pitch, which is reflected in the most productive period of his life in the club.

Haaland again gave us the reasons why he is one of the most feared forwards in football, as he scored the all important goal that saw Manchester City defeat Brentford 1-0 on Sunday. His ninth-minute goal which is a typical manifestation of his predatory instinct earned the City three precious points and catapulted them to position five in the premier league table.

The Norwegian star has already registered in nine successive club and country matches–the longest streak of his career. He has already scored 12 goals in nine games with City and earned six goals in two games with Norway in all the competitions this season. He has only been denied to score by Tottenham in the ongoing campaign.

Looking back at his unbelievable beginning of the season, the 25-year-old commented that he has never felt better as both mentally and physically. He attributes a lot of his new sense of stability and concentration to the birth of his first child in December.

The most recent Haaland goal against Brentford was his 18th goal of the season in club and country as well as his 18th goal at Anfield, and the crowner: Anfield is the only ground in the entire Premier League that Haaland has never scored in.

The fact that he can juggle the pressures of high level sports with the pleasures of family life seems to be the magic to this unstoppable physique.
